Location

The Island is very busy and it can be difficult to get a table in a restaurant either in Staffin or Portree. To avoid problems we strongly advise our guests to book a restaurant for their arrival night.

Tigh-Na-Mara Bed and Breakfast is located in Lower Garafad in Staffin, Isle Of Skye, just 17 miles north of Portree. The views are stunning and the property is conveniently located for walking to Staffin Bay and Staffin Beach, as well as popping for dinner at The Columba Centre Cafe or Kilmartin River Cafe.

Staffin is located 17 miles (30 mins.) north of Portree. Staffin is a great place to stay if you plan on walking up The Old Man of Storr (with its stunning views towards the Torridon on the mainland), or visiting The Quirang. We are a few minutes walk from fossil hunting in Staffin Bay, and the beach where the famous dinosaur footprints are located.
